one reason it is downloading slow for some of you is because a lot of people are downloading it and it slows down the download speed when a lot of people download the same file. plus nascarnet has a ton of traffic and is slower then most sites you would download from. It has nothing to do with the file they uploaded, and you can't do anything about it. btw nice looking cars. good job guys!!!

Nice set. And you can't take the nose off of any other cars. You can't change the model that TheUSPits gave us. It is in the game, and if you change it, you should just change the whole thing and make it the '93 Mod. *Dan_T*

I understand where NostalgicNSCRfan is coming from. but c'mon man, when you say "The noses on the Fords aren't even correct,I'm not downloading this." you make it sound like it was these guys's fault. its not. whether you think it is or isnt everyone is trying to defend their hard work. It said that it was aerowar88 cars. not 1993mod cars. you would have a beef if the cars were SUPPOSED to be accurate, but they are not. these are 1993 schemes on 1988 cars. If that doesnt appeal to you then thats fine. just dont make it their fault they arent 100% identical. They are close. A lot closer than any other way to get a 1993 set to look. So at least dont make it APPEAR to be like your blaming them. Some people can overlook the fact that it is REALLY hard to make it perfect. I am glad that people like this can overlook small differences between how it was and how it is. They make this a much more fun game

ok im really sorry to everyone to everyone who thought i sounded like a jerk there because im not. I was just really amazed at how long it said it was going to take to download this thing. the site must have been running slow on the day i was trying because now it s saying it will download in 26 minutes. But i certainly did not say anything bad about your painting cause i think you did an outstanding job on it good work

Wasnt pointing you out specifically NostalgicNSCRfan. Just the whiners in general. Its not a flame war either, I give a crap what you think. When you post "ford noses arent right I'm not downloading this." What kind of comments are those? Instead of complaining maybe ask the mod guys why it is that way, Im sure there is a reason. Its just a game anyway. I appreciate everyone who contributes to this game to make it that much better for us all whether its to my "approval" or not. I think you take this waaaayyyyy to serious.

Ah well, you can fill in the noses on the Fords can't you?That'd make them look right. As for me,I'll just keep using the '93 and '95 sets I have for NR2002,but I can use em on NR2003 with a mod...Iceman,you have such an unoriginal comeback. As for me,I'm done with this place,there's too many people here who like to flame. I was just stating the inaccuracy with the set,to make things clear.

Hey guys havent downloaded yet. Im having probs downloading too (very slow). I have cable connection. No Biggie just download before I go to sleep. Anyways thanks for all the hardwork that went into this mod. I hate people who complain about the time and hard work people put into a mod for free and for everyone to use. If you dont like dont use it PERIOD!!!!!!!!! They are not true Nascar fans in my book, just whine bag babys. GOOD WORK GUYS

First off, OUTSTANDING WORK GUYS! I had the pleasure of putting a set together with xyz_racer last year at this time (wow, has it been a year already Paul? lol) and he is a class act. I know Chris and the other guys worked their butts off to do this, so we need to be greatful. I dont remember anyone bashing PIP for his 88 set on NR2002 cars, so why should we start that crap here. If you like, dont "click here to download"...and while your at it, please dont waste our time by "click here to leave a comment". Thank you!

You know I really can't believe some people in this world...CC#48,Tryintobecool and XYZ_Racer spent countless hours creating these cars one by one. I downloaded all the cars individually to..Then I set about trying to work in some hopefully fairly realistic ratings, renamed the car files so they would all be easily recognizable and offered to upload them here as a set so that anyone who wanted could download them as a set...NO ONE said they were perfect (this is a mod..you play with what you have!). Has for the downloads..This is a big file (LOOK! at the the write up 27.5mb zipped). If you are on dial-up it will take awhile, If you are on Hi-Speed cable approximately 30-45 mins... Don't know why it is taking your cable so long "karter", you may need to change some settings in your system.. I had to change my outgoing mail from 25,000bps to 70,000bps so that I could send this out before my mail system would time out. Like I said this is a big file and yes we did change the car file names to make them a more compatible set..We are sorry for the inconveince and everyone may not be able to download such a large file, we are sorry for this to, whatever the reason maybe. But instead of all the complaining..How about a Thank-You for the effort to CC#48, Tryintobecool and XYZ_Racer... I thought their was only one Nextel on this site..His disease must be contagious.. Thanks to all who have downloaded this set so far. And since no-one else will say it I will...."THANKS GUY'S" for an AWESOME set.

me to im, on freakin digital cable and its taking me 3 hours to download this thing and when it gets to like 5 percent it locks up and stops downloading

I tried dowloading it 2 times! Wasted the whole day waiting until the thing was finished, then popped up the: PAGE ASSISTANT ERROR Screen. I un checked the little box when it asks wether to open or save the item, so all the .zip files i download are automatically opened. Please help me get the car set. Thanks :)

Just to let everyone know...This little project was fun for all who were involved...We all had a blast painting the old car schemes on this Mod...I started doing a few after Yara had released his Lumina template and that was a lot of fun...After I asked xyz_racer to help out tryingtobecool was kind enough to help out as well...Then we had the good fortune to have Double D help out with the ratings....Things went real smooth for us....We first asked Alex to post the set here and he was Kind enough to allow us to do it...He has done lots for the sim racing community and I was thankful that he allowed us to post the set here...I am on dialup conec at 28.8 kbps so I was not able to post the set...So Double D posted it for us....We have also had some others ask to post the set at their sites and we are very thankful to them for their offers...We are not ruling out using them...We know that the cars do not look perfect as the models and templates are not perfect for this year, but we had so much fun doing this that we wanted to share it....Thanks to all who are taking the time to download this.....Once I download the set I will post the ratings for others .....

If it isn't too much, could you or anyone please post the ratings as a seperate file, I already downloaded each car one by one as they were posted, and sicne I'm on 56k it would well over two hours just to get the ratings..=/
