Hello! I downloaded the update, which by the way look very nice. However, I've ran into a problem. I installed everything as the readme says, but when I start the game up, it goes to the main loadup screen then crashes before it even makes the main menu. Is there something I did wrong? Am I supposed to have a clean NR2003?

I did not include the layout.dat file because I did not replace enough of the game's files to do so, but I also did not test conflicting issues with that file and my update. That's very much my mistake, I should have tested to see if there were conflicts between layout.dat and the 2014 UI Update, I'll take a look later today and see if there's a solution. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I tried to re-install without any luck. I'm still getting the arrow and hourglass when I'm in the game. I did not add everything. I simply took parts of your update, like someone else mentioned " layout.dat " isn't included in your layout folder... I kept the one I had already... not sure IF that's the problem. Either way, it's fine, looked like a nice little addon but I'm happy with the other content included. Thanks!

The only thing that works for NR2002 is the alternate flags.

The 2014 UI Update for NR2003? I'm afraid that I do not have NR2002 (anymore) so I don't know if the game handles things the same way. Sorry about that.

There is no Layout.Dat in the folder

Hi eX29-, the mouse cursor should be working fine, particularly since the other things are. I just checked it out right now, deleting the files and re-adding them, and it was working on my system. It sounds to me like you have the files in the right place, just make sure that "cursor_busy.stp" and "cursor_nrml.stp" are in the "layout" folder. I'm still taking a look in case there's something I overlooked. Let me know if still doesn't show up and sorry about that.

Thanks! I have one question... I followed the install instructions and everything loaded fine. I got the new copyright picture BUT the following; + New Checkered flag cursor that turns into a red flag when waiting/loading data. Does not show up. I still have the regular arrow and hour glass when loading. I placed the two cursor stp files inside the layout folder bellow the art, stamp and other folders. Anything I did wrong?
