I think the thing to keep in mind is that none of us get payed to paint cars. We do it because we love to do it and we like to express our ideas through racecars. To me I download cars if I like them or if I am running a season. It doesnt matter to me if the person spent 5 minutes or 5 days on it as long as it looks good is pretty accurate.

I appreciate the positive feedback and support guys. People aren't gonna sway me in to not releasing stuff through intimidation. I'm a kid, 15, and I understand how people around my age can be. It's a fact of life unfortunately, but I don't let it bother me anymore. I'll keep releasing stuff to the community as long as someone can say something nice about it or give a way to improve my work. This is the best I can do to give back to the awesome sim racing sommunity.

Helping the sim community is the whole point here. I have posted schemes here and although I don't get many downloads, it's probably because of little interest for the schemes. Shawn, thanks for the car you did a great job on it. I've had a few people made CONSTRUCTIVE criticism on my earlier postings, which I try in my later postings. I don't think I have the talents like some of the schemes I have seen and downloaded from here and other quality sites, but I enjoy sharing my creations. All I have to say, if it wasn't for those who took the time to creative original and realistic rides for the game, just think how boring it could be compared to what we now have. I know about marketing sensitivity, I would rather have Miller Lite, Budweiser and Coors Light, instead of Rusty, Jr., or Sterlin Marlin on the cars that race on my screen. To all dedicated painters, thank you and please continue to make realistic cars!

5 minutes or 8 hours doesen't make a difference. What happen to helping the sim community! Isn't what making cars or anything else that is made all about. oooooh I fogot to many of you are after downloads and only care about how much popularity you have with everyone. The point is the car is really well done doesen't matter how long it took. You make it sound like he posted it to get at someone. Which I highly doubt. Probably posted it to help someone who wanted this car... like someone else said grow up!!! PS Very nice job on the car Shawn. :-)

Nice Car!!! Being a JB fan I can't wait for him to win a race in it. But Nice Paint Job. Its not about the time you put into a car, its the fact that you had the ballz to make it. I dont see those idiots making cars. Keep up the nice work!

Racerman28 you know what? It doesn't matter how long it takes to paint it... They did it for us to enjoy, I think it looks great, but it is people like you, that give this place a bad reputation for rude comments. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all! Nice car, keep it up...

i have been coming to this site for a very long time and enjoying the great d/loads from a lot of talented painters , and it really irks me that instead of encouraging talent we choose to put it down , this car may have only taken 5 minutes to create but bottom line is it was done for our enjoyment you have choices d/load or not one says wrong # direction , get your facts straight befor putting down work and to say it took 5 minutes to create is simply stupid and ignorant as you do not know of his skills , i do not what age you guys are ( labonte and racer ) time to grow the f... up i am 39 and rarely post just because of this. as far as the car keep up the great work shawn. lets be courteos and lend constructive critisis not destructive.
