I agree all these new looks are alright but i hate the new common template! i hate i hate i hate it!!! (2003 gm cars look good) ok had to get that out anyways i dont like common templates, either build better care or switch makes as is explained below my comment. look at the other series' and see the difference. The reason maybe one make wins more often is because of the money they got in backing. You dont see alot of the big teams complaing its the stuggling teams with no backing. I feel bad about common templates because its gonna make everyone equal and u wont know who the better team/driver/car is better only the luckiest car is gonna win. look at plate racing everone runs together all the time but at least before the good cars were up front and the bad cars were in the back then they changed it (that was cool the 2000 and early 2001 plate look at least in a fan persepective) this is going to fuel a big fire and ill post in the the forum later. From a fan look closer is better but as a true diehard fan its gotta be the good cars winning not whoever makes it past the "big one". Agree or dont agree thats my opinion.

Yeah, i understand that part. I just think its ugly now, that's all. Plus, whatever happened to this being a "team" sport? Elliott, Waltrip, and Earnhardt dominated the 80's because not only were they the best drivers, but they had the best engine builders, fabricators, pit crews, etc. NASCAR is hypocritical when they claim its a "team" sport, but then they make common templates. Also, if one car has an advantage, the drivers shouldnt cry about it, they should either build a better car, or switch makes. It used to happen all the time. God knows how many different make of cars Petty drove over the years.

Nice car... Heres the purpose of the new body style. First of all its a common template which means all makes are the same shape (so no make will have an aero advantage) The weird looking bumper section is an ATTEMPT to fix aero push but it probably wont work. Plus without aero advantages, its really goona be a test of the drivers skill. And noone will be saying "oh that car has a better aero balance" or something.
