Rating: 0/10 NNRacing.com Painting contest: Official Rule Book. All forum posts regarding the contest will have the title “***NNRPC…..***” NNRPC is a member supported painting contest to determine the best paint scheme for a given sponsor. The contest is based solely on the superspeedway.net COT mod for NR2003. The winner is determined by most votes received from other members. The season champion is determined by a points system. The contest takes place every two weeks with deadlines for submission occurring at 11:59pm ET on the Friday of the contest weekend. Voting takes place Saturday through Sunday of that same weekend. The year is broken up into 4 seasons of 3 months each. The Contest: - At the beginning of a new contest, a designated sponsor (chosen by the last contests winner) will be announced on the Monday, or Tuesday following a previous contest weekend. Entrants must use the SS.net mod to create a fictional paint scheme that best exemplifies that sponsor. - Only the four standard models from the Sprint cup series may be used as templates, i.e. Toyota Camry, Dodge Charger, Ford Fusion, and Chevy Impala are the only eligible templates. - Paint schemes of real Sprint Cup cars will not be permitted, this is a fictional paint scheme contest and all paint schemes must be purely fictional. For example if the sponsor is Old Spice, do not enter a Tony Stewart Fictional of any sort. - If a sponsor is chosen that is currently in use by a Sprint Cup or any other major racing series team, then that team’s numbers are prohibited from being used. For example if the sponsor is Office Depot, you may not use the #14. - All entries must be submitted to the official NNRPC email account (nnrpc51@yahoo.com) by the deadline in order to be eligible for the contest. Late entries will incur predetermined penalty. - Entries are submitted in the form of a render of the paint scheme or a screen shot. There is a MAXIMUM 2 CAR render scene limit, meaning no more than two cars can be in the render. Also any special render schemes are prohibited, other scenes with plain color backgrounds are permitted (for example the “slot car” scene is not allowed). - The contest is anonymous, entries can only be submitted in the form of an email sent to the designated email address (nnrpc51@yahoo.com) or a pm to the contest official (“theshackle” unless otherwise specified). You may not post your car on NNRacing.com prior to the contests conclusion. You may not tell voters which car you painted. You car and/or render may not contain any logos or signatures that reveal your identity. - Cars will be posted by a contest official as soon as the submission deadline passes. A random number will be assigned to each car by which voters will identify it. - Painters may not vote for themselves. The Winner: - The winner will be determined by the greatest number of votes accumulated across the two voting days. - The winner will be announced Monday day in the forum. The winner will be notified in the form of a PM. The winner has until Midnight on Tuesday to reply with their sponsor choice and a URL to download logos for that sponsor. - The winner must provide a link to logos or else the sponsor is ineligible. - If the winner forfeits the sponsor choice because of penalty or otherwise the next eligible painter will be notified. The same timetable applies. - The winner receives 50 points, all other entrants receive 10. -In the event of a tie for first, the tie breaker will revert to the NNRPC point’s standings. If that does not break the tie then the contest will officially be declared a tie with the 50 point purse being divided amongst the winners. Sponsor choice will be determined by the NNRacing.com Pick a Winner standings. - The Season Champion is determined by the Points (subject to change) Penalties: This is a comprehensive list of all current penalties that may be enforced. If you do not have access to that scene talk to an admin or Ten0r himself to get put on the official NNRacing.com list at Ten0r’s. - Don’t push the envelope on whether or not a scheme is too close to an actual paint scheme, penalties will awarded quite strictly on this particular rule. - Read the rulebook and read every ***NNRPC*** forum thread in its entirety. These threads contain vital information on rules updates, and deadlines. If you do not read a post, you will still be penalized for any rules updates it contains -If you have a question, about anything, please ask in the form of a PM, forum post, or email to the NNRPC account. -Remember to have fun with this.
